Coastal GeoTools 2023

Over 300 attendees can’t be wrong – Coastal GeoTools is one of the best conferences around. Held in Charleston, South Carolina, February 6 to 9, people came together to explore how best to apply data and technology to make our coasts more resilient. This year the conference included an emphasis on partnering with tribal and Indigenous communities. Many called the two tribal-focused plenaries the best yet. Pictured here, NOAA Digital Coast leadership spent time with James Rattling Leaf, a keynote speaker and global Indigenous consultant at the Wolakota Lab, and some of our coastal management and Digital Coast fellows.
