Use this quick reference to see if your coastal county is among the 400 included in the Economics: National Ocean Watch (ENOW) data set. Counties included meet the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s definition of coastal shoreline counties, with two adjustments: shore-adjacent counties with no relevant economic activity are removed, and counties that are not shore-adjacent but do have significant levels of ocean and Great Lakes-dependent activity are added.
